Reaching this pinnacle at Touro University has been a transformative experience. Touro’s mission of academic excellence and service to humanity has provided the perfect backdrop for my research, shaping my perspective on leadership and community impact. I am particularly humbled to share that I am graduating with the distinction of MAGNA CUM LAUDE. This honor represents the countless hours of dedication and the high standards I set for my scholarship. It is a testament to the belief that with passion and perseverance, the most challenging goals are within reach.

As I look back on the Class of 2026’s journey, I am reminded that no one reaches this stage alone. This celebration is as much for you as it is for me. This site serves as a tribute to the mentors who guided my research, the colleagues who challenged my thinking, and the friends and family whose encouragement kept me grounded. And one last thing…. please note that you will see my name as Romeo So-Leng, which reflects a hyphenation of my father's and mother's surnames. I am currently in the process of legally adopting. My current government-issued name is Virak H. I appreciate your understanding as I transition my records to reflect my chosen name.
